The Sophie Crypto Index components are defined by the first 25 market capitalizations of cryptocurrencies, excluding stable coins. However, we do include WBTC and STETH in the index, even though they may overlap with BTC and ETH, so their market caps may be counted twice. To avoid Bitcoin and Ether dominance, each token in the index is given an equal weight, regardless of its market cap. This ensures that the index reflects the overall performance of the crypto market, rather than being dominated by a few large tokens.
